Ancient Aliens is an American documentary-style TV series that uses archaeology, historical texts and legends to explore the possibility of human/extra-terrestrial contact in the past. Following a TV special on the History channel in March 2009, the series premiered in April  2010 ~ to date, there have been 13 series comprising a total of  136 episodes.
